Our client is looking to recruit a Process Engineer and a Senior Process Engineer on a contract basis.

Role Description
To assess the potential contents of the tanks from the presepctive of:
- Explosion hazards (DSEAR assessment)
- Chemical hazards (chemotoxic assessments)
- To define suitable mitigating measures to ensure characterisation can be undertaken safely and to support definition of the removal procedure.
- This will encompass engagement with a range of stakeholders and specialists.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent engineering discipline)
- Proactive and driven approach to work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with other team members / disciplines
- Competent report writing skills: clearly and concisely reporting findings.
- Comfortable working under time and cost constraints.
- Experience of dealing with chemical & chemotoxic hazards
Desirable Experience & Qualifications / Additional information (e.g Radiological Status Requirements)
- Chartered Chemical Engineer with IChemE/EC.
- Experience of nuclear industry design delivery
- Experience with Sellafield Ltd checking and approval procedure
- DSEAR / hydrogen management experience.
